The project management of the Lecture Room & Gallery IX internal fabric refurbishment and plant upgrade project at the Royal Academy of Arts in Piccadilly, London, ensuring that the Academy remains open for business during its busiest period. Project has been successfully carried out under extreme logistical, security and operational restrictions set in place due to value of art works, historical significance of the building and accommodating the general public.

Upgrade of Air Handling Plant including installation of 2 x new Plant Pods situated on the roof of the building, new AHU’s, humidifiers, inverters and associated M+E services and supplies. Installation of new ducting systems. Replacement of lead roofing.

Upgrading/replacement with new of CCTV, Fire Alarm, system controls and BMS system.

All internal refurbishment works and plant installations now completed on schedule. Currently carrying out testing, commissioning and witnessing and developing BIM model for Sept 4th Practical Completion date. All project KPI’s delivered on time and to clients’ satisfaction.
